SECURITY-1

TRANSACT Program Feature: Data Security in an Age of Change

U.S. vendors are set to spend $1 billion on security software in 2018. With over $6 trillion in transactions and millions of gigabytes of data flowing through the payments ecosystem, it is not hard to see why. Data is valuable, and as recent headlines show, breaches are of great public importance.

Payments technology is becoming more sophisticated and secure than ever, but so too are fraudsters looking to steal consumer data.

The payments technology industry is moving rapidly to deploy new technologies and strategies to protect consumer data and secure each transaction. Artificial intelligence, connected commerce, voice ordering, biometrics authentication and point-to-point encryption have sparked many conversations and questions for the payments industry as it works to secure the new and evolving ecosystem.

At TRANSACT, the world’s largest payments technology trade show happening April 17-19 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, thousands of payments technology leaders will gather to help chart a course for the future of the payments industry. Across the event’s 120+ speakers, six educational tracks and 40+ educational sessions, the role of new technologies in fighting fraud and securing the ecosystem is a major focus.

In the Risk, Fraud and Security Technologies track, sponsored by Forter, we’ll take a deep dive into how innovation is changing data security in the payments industry. Plus, anti-fraud and security advancements will be a major focus in the five other educational tracks, in the keynotes on the show floor. Check out the session titles, speakers and times below:
