ETA Announces 2017 Board of Directors

2017 Board Members and Officers Lead the Payments Industry through Unprecedented Industry Growth

WASHINGTON, DC ─ The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the global trade association representing the payments technology world, announced today the election by the ETA membership of six Directors to two-year terms of service on its Board. ETA also announced its 2017 Officers and appointments to the Presidential Advisory Council of the ETA Board.

“ETA’s 2017 Board of Directors reflects our broadened membership, which includes the world’s largest payments and technology companies, and amplifies ETA’s leadership position as the voice of the payments industry,” said Jason Oxman, CEO of ETA. “Our Board includes leaders from financial institutions, merchant sales organizations and processors, technology companies, and networks – the entire payments technology ecosystem. These top executives will serve our membership well as ETA grows our industry through world class events like TRANSACT, education and credentialing programs, and policy advocacy.”

“I am thrilled to begin my term as the Chairman of the Board of ETA during this transformative time in our industry,” said Jeff Sloan, CEO of Global Payments and ETA’s 2017 Board Chairman and President. “I look forward to working with my fellow Board Members and the talented ETA staff to grow our industry through this great trade association.”

Six directors were confirmed by member vote to a two-year term on the board:

  • Sarah Arvin, SVP Chief Marketing and Product Officer, WorldPay
  • Eric Dunn, CEO, Quicken
  • Eric Hoffman, Director of Internet Software and Services, Apple
  • Kevin Jones, President and CEO, Anovia Payments
  • Chris Lee, President, North American Strategic Partnerships, Moneris Solutions
  • Julie Pukas, Head of US Bankcard and Merchant Solutions, TD Bank

The ETA Board of Directors also elected its Officers for 2017, who are:

  • Jeff Sloan, CEO, Global Payments – Chairman and President
  • Chuck Harris, President, NetSpend, a TSYS Company – President-Elect
  • Jennifer Miles – Treasurer
  • Tim Tynan, CEO, Bank of America Merchant Services – Secretary
  • Greg Cohen, Chief Operating Officer, iPayment – Immediate Past President

Also serving on the 2017 Board as Directors are:

  • Dan Charron, EVP Global Business Solutions, First Data
  • Guy Harris, President North America, Elavon
  • John Priore, President & CEO, Priority Payment Systems
  • Steve Klebe, Business Development, Google

Sloan announced appointments to the Presidential Advisory Council, whose members hold non-voting seats on the

ETA Board:
