ETA Announces General Michael Hayden as Keynote Speaker for ETA’s Strategic Leadership Forum
ETA announced General Michael Hayden as the keynote speaker for the 2016 ETA Strategic Leadership Forum (SLF), the premier annual event for payments’ top executives. General Hayden, the former Director of the CIA and the NSA, will provide a leadership perspective on business threats from cybercrime, global terrorism, and international security issues, and will give a point of view never before seen at SLF. The ETA SLF takes place at the renowned Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, FL, October 19 – 21. Registration is open now at http://electran.org/events/slf16/.
“In my decade of service as the Director of the NSA and the CIA, and over 40 years as a military leader, I saw firsthand the sophisticated and growing threat of cybercrime,” said General Hayden. “I have a unique view into the challenges that businesses face in addressing leadership and growth, and I want to help payments industry leaders understand the personal and professional impact of the current political landscape and the global threat of terrorism and cybercrime.”
General Hayden will discuss current threats facing the payments industry, lessons learned as a military and intelligence community leader, and the current U.S. political climate. Previous to his time at the CIA and NSA, General Hayden served more than 40 years as a top military leader.
“Every payments and technology leader concerned about the growing threat of cybercrime needs to be at SLF,” said Jason Oxman, ETA CEO. “This is a unique opportunity to engage a world renowned leader on security, military leadership, and the cyber threats to your business.”
