ETAU Hosts Annual Payments Technology Day
Yesterday, the Electronic Transactions Association hosted its annual ETA University (ETAU) Payments Technology Day, bringing together staff from Congressional and regulatory offices, law enforcement, as well as government affairs and legal professionals to learn about the payments ecosystem and the latest developments in the payments industry, such as EMV, digital currency, data breaches, and mobile payments.
Oxman started the conference with a call for innovation. He explained to the crowd that technology companies and payments companies are becoming one and the same, with the lines are quickly blurring between the two.
ETAU Payments Technology Day included five panels consisting of ETA member company executives who shared their expertise on today’s hot topics: EMV, mobile pay, tokenization, marketplace lending, and even fantasy sports gambling.
ETAU is an ongoing educational and professional growth program designed to cover key facets of the industry necessary to expand your industry expertise; whether you’re an ISO, financial institution, processor, vendor, or service provider, ETAU has a course to fit your needs.
