ETA Announces the Roll-Out of New Payment Facilitator Guidelines
Today, ETA rolled out its new Payment Facilitator Guidelines from the TRANSACT 16 stage. Offering guidance to new entrants on practices including settlement, registration, funding delays, fraud, security, and related issues, the Payment Facilitator Guidelines will be the cornerstone of benefits for companies joining ETA, the trade association representing the entire payments technology ecosystem.
Authored by Double Diamond Group on behalf of ETA, these important guidelines are available free to ETA members, and will help promote the growth of the Payment Facilitator segment as it brings new technology companies into the payments industry.
Today’s Payment Facilitator Day at TRANSACT 16, moderated by Todd Ablowitz, Double Diamond Group, and Deana Rich, Rich Consulting, focused solely on the payment facilitator model, exploring and discussing trends, relevant solutions, ideas, and innovations shaping the payment facilitator industry.
“It’s been an exciting and interesting road for the payment facilitator concept,” said Todd Ablowitz, CEO of Double Diamond Group and co-Founder of PaymentFacilitator.com. “We’ve been there since its inception and are fortunate to be part of the dramatic rise of this vertical. We’re delighted to share some unique perspectives on how the industry is using payment facilitation to drive innovation, create better merchant experiences, and improve back office and risk systems.”
This year’s TRANSACT 16 Payments Facilitator Day speakers included payment facilitator and ISV veterans from Yapstone’s President David Weiss to relative newcomers like RunSignUp’s CFOO Kevin Harris, sharing their expertise and experience on entering the exciting and ever-changing payments space.
